Right so. I haven't been on here in a while.

But a while back I found these two pet names on a frozen account that I'd like. The account said it would be cleared sometime in May '13 I think? (this was back in 2012)

So I set alarms and all for then, checked on the date and it had been moved to November 26th of this year.

I figured I'd just copied it down wrong, so did my waiting and came back to check today.

And it's been moved again to September 9th 2014?

I can't wait that long okay.

Does it usually do this and am I just being stupid here?

Thanks for the advice. I wasn't sure if it was a thing that occurred regularly or not.

I have never heard of this happening to a frozen account. Somtimes there are people who are not frozen but who pop in very irregularly, just long enough to preserve their account name and pet name. If it's a nametease, you're out of luck. But frozen ??

Yeah, it says: Oh No! ___ is frozen! This account will be eligible for clearing on 02/09/14 at 3:00 pm.

So I guess they can't have logged in or anything.

If it is a self-frozen account, the user can unfreeze their account via tickets and then re-freeze it.

When your account is frozen, you can still log in. While there's no purpose to it, it does push the clearing deadline.
