I'm not sure if this is a part of the "SQL error: Commands out of sync; you can't run this command now" thing, but my status says I have no active pet and when I go to make a pet active... well the option doesn't even show.

Plus I seem to get the same odd code looking error when I hover over my username.

Is the active pet problem I'm getting part of the SQL error problem or something different? (Also, I'm I the only one getting this?)

The way the new petpage is set up, you just click on the pet's picture to make them active.

What does the error you are getting look like? Does it go away when you activate a pet (in the way explained)?

yes it's fixed now .. still not used to the new setups
