While it has been a long time since I've used one, is there a way to "break down a GA"?

Like if you have a year one can you "break it down" to monthly ones or monthly into weekly?

After the GA Medal is bought you can't break it down unfortunately :( The only way would be selling it and buying a different one

What GA Medal do you currently have and which were you after? The rate should be the same, minus the small CSC discount you get for buying the longer ones. The only problem is anything over 2-3 months will be quite hard to sell. I know when I am looking for them I typically buy one month at a time

That shouldn't be so bad then. In the cash shop a monthly = 480 CSC and a weekly is 150 CSC. Not quite the same rate, weekly is pretty expensive. If you still wanted to go ahead with it then the easiest way would be putting the monthly ones in your shop and then buying CSC / the weekly ones straight up. They may take a day or two to sell but they should sell

I'm pretty sure the SP to CSC conversion is way off as well.

The only way is to trade with someone else, Subeta won't let you physically break down a medal after it is bought. So you can sell your monthly medals in your shop and with the profits buy CSC to buy a weekly medal or just buy a weekly medal. Whichever way is cheapest, I haven't checked.

the "sP to CSC conversion rate" is not subject to balance, ever. There is no official exchange rate at all. When you are doing what you are thinking of as conversion, you are buying the CSC from another player who happens to think that the sP you have is more valuable to her than the CSC that she has, which she probably bought with her own RL money. If users happen to have a use for the CSC that they have, then they're less likely to part with it, and the price in sP goes up. When they're dying for the sP Ifor instance, to buy books during the recent Reading Drive) the price in sP drops.

If you think people are making bad guesses what other people will pay for either, speculate on the market, make yourself some money from your arb-ing, and use that to get what you want.

If you go to the Advertising/Wanted forums you can usually find CSC for the rate that said, 100 CSC = 3m sP. CSC is actually pretty low in the shop search for what it generally has been since I joined just over a year ago, close to that rate. Personally I think it would be pretty hard for you to find CSC any cheaper than that, if you don't find that fair then it looks like you're stuck with the medal you have.

The exchange rate does fluctuate, but where it's at right now has been fairly steady for a while. Weekly medals do sell more than monthly medals though. They used to much much cheaper, but the Reading Drive drove the sP prices way up. :)
