hey guys, i created this thread to keep you all updated in on place. my life has kind of exploded. nothing bad, just i'm really busy all of a sudden. if at any point i'm taking too long i won't be offended if you decide to go with someone else. i do want to do all of your overlays, but i'm much shorter on time, and i want to be fair.

I like Scenic better without the bands on the paws (the right). I like the placement of the ring, too, I think. Maybe just a pixel or two to the left? The headdress seems a little heavy on the border (I think it's more the colour than the thickness), but maybe once there's a darker outline on the mask it will look more right (because it will balance out with the rainyday face marking, too).

so this was my first idea [IMG]http://i52.tinypic.com/2jdm9zn.jpg[/IMG] i made parts of him bigger thinking that would give more of a chibi feel. i don't think its really accomplishing that though. i tried a first draft of redrawing the eyes but they were all wrong, and i wasn't sure if this idea was working anyway so i didn't want to spend a lot of time on them. if this isn't working i might give up unless you have any more specific ideas of how i can work this. p.s. i really like your ha

i'm toying with the idea of giving up on this one. i'm feeling rather stuck on the last few details and especially on the yarn.

I think he looks good so far. I think the huge over-sized ears is what makes the chibi one looks so chibi, so perhaps if you made his ears larger it would make him look more chibi? It's just a suggestion; otherwise I'm willing to have him look more normal

i originally started on the ears and didn't finish them because then i switched to making the whole head bigger, doing just the ears was looking really odd. but i'll try again to do the ears on the big head :P
