I doubt they'd retire an item that's so well used.

Most items are in the sale, even the minions they released the other day - they wouldn't be retiring them.

they will never ever be retired . mostly implied that items released before epicon in 2013 (from inbetween the 2012 black friday to the 2013 30% off and other mini cs events/releases) will be retired.
