Can you name all of the site events that have floating items?
What about events that require you to interact with a user via the forums or their profile?
I have yet to spend a year straight on here yet, so I'd like to see how many you can list. :)
A more direct question I have is: what day does/should Fireside start?
Floating Item Events: -New Years (gift bags, usually) -Vesnail (Subeta's Easter-time holiday) has floating flowers -Anniversary (Sept.) has floating gift bags or items -Morostide has pumpkins -Fireside has red rreign items to throw into the bonfire
Interaction Events: -Survival (in the past, kissing users on the forum, but I believe that's been done away with) getting candy hearts from profiles -Masquerade is the biggest with dancing on the forums -Vesnali has sending flowers to friends to get Vesnali coins -Morostide has trick-or-treating and egging/tp-ing users -Luminarie you can leave gifts under users trees on their profiles
Might have missed one or two...
As for Fireside, there is no set date that I know of. According to the wiki it starts mid-November and runs about a week.
New Year - floating items Survival - forum kissing, profile hearts, floating masks Vesnali - floating flowers, sending flowers Masquerade - forum dancing Anniversary - floating items Morostide - floating pumpkins, profile ToT/Egg/TP Fireside - floating items Luminaire - profile gifts
Did I get that right?
Like I said, though, I don't thing forum kissing is a thing anymore. I don't know if it will ever be brought back.
Everything else look good, unless I missed something. Some of the holidays have other things that go along with them, and there are other holidays that don't have either floating items or player-to-player interaction. There is usually a small non-holiday event or two thrown in during the summer months as well, that don't fit any classification.
We had forum kissing this past year. Not that it means it will be a regular thing, but we did have it this year.
I've only been here a little over a year but there wasn't one and I haven't heard it mentioned at all so I don't think so? I think maybe it either had something to do with the Amy plot, or was stopped after Islanders stopped allowing people onto the island after the plot but that's just kind of a guess :P
