At this point, the only quests that really exist, are for restockable items.

I think that if there was someone higher class than Saggi, who asked for Donation Presents but only exchanged them for other Donation Presents. I notice quite often that some of them, i.e or arent worth really anything and dont have much purpose on site, but this would be a way to get some of them out of the game without having to wait for them to decrease so much that the Subeta Team just goes through and buys them. I do think that they should be a low limit quest and possibly a reward for either a Gold account or as an achievement for doing something else, like, if access was a reward for having all the other quest achievements and maybe a title of QUEST MASTER or something.

Feedback?

okay, just so i'm getting the idea right before I pass judgement, since your post was just a bit confusing: -one quest that would ask for DP -would give other DPs in return -Low limit {so say, under 10 per day?} -Either a GA bonus or a bonus for having all the other quest achs

Um... since Donation/Collections Items are such a small part of the total amount of items on the site, I can't see this quest because useful for more than a month at most. Eventually the lower priced items would increase in price and once that happens some other might deflate slightly, but for the most part I think the items would just even out again with a smaller gap in price between the wanted DP items and the unwanted ones, but a gap that wouldn't be big enough to make it worth the risk as a daily quest. I also don't like the idea of it being available to GA only users if it was implemented, I think that if it was in a restricted place that was still available to users GA or no GA, like Omen Islands, it would be better.

And I could be wrong about my reason for disagreeing with this idea, but with Subeta's delicate economy I don't think it would do enough good to it that would require a quest like this.

I feel some people will be against this seeing these items were once obtained via CS, but honestly I like the idea if you really limit the quests. Some of the items really do need to sell out a bit, they are too low for a collection item, it would also be nice to get more donation/collection items out to us in another way rather than the CS Hustler. So, I say I support.

[Edit] maybe a monthly quest that you can only do throughout the span of a month?

It does suck that a lot of DP items aren't worth much. It also sucks that a lot of chance bag items aren't worth much. But that just is going to happen for items that aren't wears or collectables. I don't think it needs to be changed or fixed.

Maybe rather than having a special quest for just these items (which I could see easily screwing up the market for old DP prizes), Sagi could start asking for DP things? Or I'd even support the creation of a quest that asked for only special/donation rarity items, and gave out either a high sP payout or r99-150 items in return.

I'd hate to see r99s given out in exchange for DPs, just because some R99s are barely worth anything right now.

Maybe a quest that asked for r85+, DPs, seasonal shop items / RS war prizes, and gave back a set sP reward plus an item? Sort of like the higher levels of Item Hunt, but as a quest. I support the idea of this being only for users who've done something to 'deserve' access to it - maybe BB, GA users or similar?

Done correctly, this could be really interesting.

So, it could ask for any DP item, and give out any DP item.

I'm not sure if it's that great of an idea, considering there are a lot of stupidly inflated DPs as well.

I don't really like this idea, I love cheap DP items because a lot of them are really cute (I happen to LOVE the lobster phone) and make good TC items.

Well, it would be a good way to balance out the old system of donation presents since those gave random prizes. Since you can choose your own prizes now, there's no reason not to have something that would, in effect, let you choose different gifts in exchange for old DP prizes.

I like that quests ask for restockable items. If a new quest was made, I'd rather see a NPC asking for restockable clothing that is hella deflated, giving it more use.

Well questing is always sort of a gamble. When you go to Pete and he asks for a 50K cookie or whatever, and sometimes you get SUBQ and sometimes you get....a "rare" elixir worth 2k. The higher quests are usually a gamble.

has the right idea and i think a once every few months as a special thing wouldnt be a bad idea.

Its great that you love the lobsterphone. Really. And im sure you TOTALLY look forward to getting them in lumineve prizes that you open up right?!!?! No. Because theyre cheap. Thats my point. A way to fix the DP prizes that arent worth as much and find a better way to balance the market.

There are alot of people who buy lumineve boxes, and the mini-vending machines and so on and so forth, selling, trading, I think there are alot of unwanted items in the game tbh.

I like it too that we have so many that ask for so many different things. And i know what you mean about restockable clothes but i think more crystal shop items would help to fix that. But thats neither here nor there.

shrugs I don't like getting cheaper wigs in the vintage hat box or cheap minions in the chance bags instead of wigs or wearbles but that is the luck of the draw when using chance items.

I still think that the site's economy overall would better benefit from a quest that made restockable items closer to the value they sell at in the main shops. I don't see the Crystal Shop as a viable way to keep those prices in line, unless of course staff wants to start restocking it with new stuff on a more regular basis.
