Exactly what are minions useful for? I understand that they are visible as a companion for your pet, and that they can help in battle. Is it possible that the minion can also prevent your pet from getting bored easily? Earlier, my Celinox would end up bored in a couple of hours, but after I gave her a Minion, it's been an entire night and she's still 'Very Happy'. Is there any way to interact with the Minion? Can Minions escape? Do they have any other impact on your pet? And what is the 'Nip' I've been hearing about? OK... this is probably not a few question, but please answer!

Minions do not help in battle.

They keep your pet entertained (happy) indefinitely.

Minion nip is for finding Jaxon's minions in the pumpkin patch during Morostide (Halloween). It's not really to do with anything else.

Minions can not escape, die or have any interaction with you. They're just a pet for your pet. :]

No, minions don't have weapons (well, as a part of the art maybe, but those don't count). Your weapons are in your armory and only your pet(s) use them.

No, whatever minion strikes your fancy is as good as the next one! How you pick them is up to you, so have fun with that! :]

Your pet can eat edible minions only if you choose to feed it to them. Otherwise, no. They're quite safe. ^^
