I'm alone in the house and there's a massive thunderstorm outside, with hail and buckets of rain... And massive booms.
I'm scared of thunderstorms. I hate loud noises. The lights went out for about a minute just now and I'm scared of the dark. I'm twenty years old and as soon as thunder starts it's like I'm a little kid again.
As soon as my parents left for the night, it started... The worst timing ever. Urgh. And it's only five o'clock so I can't just go to bed. I have to cook myself dinner and hope the power's still on. This isn't going to be fun. :C
At least I have a torch, some candles and my Wi-Fi is still on... touches wood
UK? That was an unexpected little storm! Totally out of the blue! Flash and a rumble. Poured with rain. Over almost as soon as it started. O.O
Hugs and lets you hug my lamb pillow pet
Meanwhile In Canada, It's cold. No, like really cold. During the first week of January, arctic air came down in Ontario and it was around -40C with windchill. I have a fear of thunderstorms as well, but it's more a fear of being electrocuted by lightning. Even so, I would rather it be a thunderstorm than a snowstorm. At least with a thunderstorm it isn't cold outside.
Hehe. ^^ Storms can be pretty scary though. I kinda like storms, but those really big thunderclaps... Eep! O.O
Had one here too, and there was a tornado in the next town over, that took roofs off houses. Only a mini one, being the UK and all. There's not enough land mass. Thank God.
Oh gosh, thunderstorm are really scary! Thankfully they can't happen here right now because it's too freaking cold. Right now there's "only" a windchill of -21C, but in the past couple of weeks it's dropped to -35 and -40C. And the SNOW! But at least snow isn't loud or makes sudden flashes =D
