Ah! Kind of freaking out because I have a job interview tomorrow! While I'm prepping for mine, tell me about your past fail job interviews. What went wrong? When did you know it was going downhill? Did you end up getting the job?

I can't the words do sometimes.

But I am kind of a genius so yes I got it based on my resume.

Sorry, I have the same problem with social skills. I wish I could be one of those easily charming people, but I'm just not. I'm quiet, I listen, and I'm nice. That doesn't make for great interviews!

As for my interview, t's not over! It went well? I went in for a teacher's aide position and got offered a teaching position. The thing is, I have no experience teaching kids and these are preschoolers! I was told I'd be a teacher in training because of that, which is fine...but I got called back for an "observation" and interview tomorrow AND now I'm freaking out even more, haha. I wasn't applying for this position! I'm not sure what they want me to show them I can do, if I haven't been taught how to do it yet. Ah!

I had a job interview yesterday.. it was almost a horror story aha, since i literally hadn't slept the night before and had to travel back to my hometown by train the morning of the interview. I was pretty much a zombie by the time I got there.. but i managed to put on a decent show and answer all the questions appropriately, so fingers crossed :x I hear back tomorrow whether i got the job eep.

I went in, asked for the lady (everyone was white trailer trash and scary to make it worse) and the girl working was like ">=( wtf there is no one by that name here growl makes scary face" and I'm like oh shit did I get the name wrong then she says "lol jk retard lololol" and then the woman comes out and shes scary too and says that she "isn't going to bite" and then everything went downhill from there. I have no social skills which makes thing worse >.>

I work for my teachers at college now though =D no interview was required.

It's bad enough not being able to sleep, but also having to travel on the same day is tough. I hope you got the job!

I got the job...pending approval from the director. She has to verify my school credit hours, which I'm a bit worried about since I'm not an Early Childhood Education major, but a Psychology major. We'll see. I was told I start Monday, but it might not work out. I'm so nervous I can barely sleep, either haha

Not quite a horror story, but I had an interview today and totally blanked out on one question (tell me about a time where you disagreed with an authority figure) and literally said nothing for a terrible amount of time x_x And then I stumbled a decent amount on words. guh, I'm not good at this thing called talking

You can take a crash course into Early Childhood Education major by checking which courses they takes and what the aim of each course is and learn by working your way through your new job.

The last interview I had, I got flustered and kept changing my answer on which department I'd rather work in. In the end, I didn't get hired. /sigh

I don't know why but I find myself making up stories when asked for things in an interview. S: Not like I'm lying through my teeth about myself, things just pop out of my mouth and I don't know where they came from. On my last interview I was so nervous I made up some story about a lady telling my previous boss that I'd done something wrong and me going out of my way to apologize to her... it's not even like I made myself look good in the story. Apparently I did a good job though because they hired me. xP
