I've found it difficult to find good places to sell my art, or even advertise.

I am always up for opportunities for myself and the commissioner. DeviantArt x Instagram

I've just opened a shop on here to sell my art and jewelry, but it isn't going well so far because I don't have any way to really advertise besides my signature and I don't have all day to go around posting. I used to do pretty well selling just drawings here, but I stopped after a while because I got bored with it. But now I'm broke and have a way to accept USD, so I'm trying to get people interested again. I've not tried Etsy or Ebay, just because I don't like the fees they charge. The only fee I have to pay selling on Subeta is Paypal's 3% fee or however much that is, which isn't bad at all.

Honestly, what works for me is to just be persistent and patient and eventually people will begin to notice you more. I know it takes a lot out of one's time to go around posting, and like Lisa said, we don't have all day to do it, but there really isn't any better way than persistence. And definitely patience. :)

Tumblr and DeviantArt are pretty good with that if you have a lot of followers and watchers, and even then, persistence will get you followers and watchers! I just looked through your gallery and you definitely have the talent! :)

What I'm saying is it isn't the places you go to, it's the amount of time you're willing to spend on getting yourself out there. Maybe try getting people you know and buy from you?

Did I mention patience yet? Lol.

Oh, and signatures/forum text images. Profiles. Pet profiles. Put your art where people can see it too :)

I definitely recommend DeviantArt. Etsy seems best for your kind of commission as well. It really does take patience. I've opened a few art shops on Subeta and have done pretty well.
