I'm not sure what weapons I need.

Current Battle Set:

Scrolls Include: Cobalt Eternal x2 Typhoon of Valor Black Rose Summit Terra Focujin

Deminex Stats: Level: 591 Health: 1477 Strength: 1481 Defense: 1480 Speed: 1476 Intelligence: 775 Tier: 9

What other weapons do you have? A decent wind blocker, like the Trident, is great against him as his scroll deals 20 icons of it every turn. The Pirate Cutlass is also not that great. I'd replace it with something which has a decent % heal. If you don't have Slaughtersaurus as a challenger, buy the Bludgeon of Mass Extinction. It has a decent attack and fair heal. The Purple Spider Squeaky Toy is also good, if a little more expensive.

I found Malignant Rift Staff pretty useful since it blocks dark and magma, which he often uses. Also try modding with Blessing of the Natural Armour Crystals to stop the stealing.

Also, mod out with as many Blessings of Natural Tears as you can. He steals. A LOT. Shrine of Apollonia offers a little bit of stealing protection as well, if you feel like throwing that in there. If you don't have the Trident, Oracles Short Sword MIGHT help, but it's better to get something with healing.

I have none of the weapons you guys suggested. Looks like I'll be trying to earn some sP get a few of of them.

When you say Trident you mean, Blessed Trident of the Banished One, right? O.o

Try borrowing a Blessed Trident as it will really help (but also costs ~300 mil at the moment). I would lend mine, but it has 4 parched baguettes in there. Picking up a multi-healer will help improve your set for all challengers tremendously, though. I can lend you the Rift Staff, Bludgeon or Purple Spider Squeaky Toy if you want to try any of them. None are modded at all. :) Mod them with Blessing crystals and couple them every turn with the Terra Focujin. His attacks don't hit too hard, so the heal can really mitigate his damage.

Are you sure? The Large Gutting Knife would fit nicely in your set if you can earn it; especially considering he's only here for the week. :P And it might help you decide which fits best with your style! If you do change your mind, feel free to ask!

this may seem like a noobish question -- but what do you mean by modifying the weapons with crystals? Do you mean that if I get a healing, or armor crystal I can somehow attach them to a weapon and they might work, when I use the weapon, as one item? How does that work? Thank you so much!

No problem! This post probably explains them better than I ever could. In this instance, Blessing of the Natural Armour Crystals are the best as they have a blessing which can prevent him from stealing from you. Generally, though, I load my weapons with Singed Baguettes and Parched Baguettes. Parched Baguettes give a decent chance to give a blessing which prevents freezing (essential for General Error) and Singed Baguettes can cast a decent curse.
