I bought a new laptop a few days ago. Yesterday, I tried to install Office 2013, just the basic Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Onenote. I had an activation card. I went to the Microsoft website, put the activation code in, and installed it. Eight hours later, it said that it had been installed. Except it hadn't. It's nowhere to be seen on my laptop. I've since tried to reinstall it but still nothing's actually been installed. I've had no error messages,or anything that would indicate that something has gone wrong. I don't know what else to do. I've tried to install it about 6 times now! Any help would be appreciated :)
was it a download or hard disk set?

It was a download. I bought it from a shop, as a card. I had to activate the installation process by typing in an activation code that was printed on the back of the card. I followed all the instructions and everything appeared to go smoothly. It even said at the end that the installation was successful and that Office can now be used. Except it's not actually been installed at all on my laptop. It's just so weird. I don't know what's going on.
... Brand new laptop, and it took 8 hours to install Office?
Is your internet the shits? If not, y'know, photoshop takes less time. Sounds like something wrong with the process itself.
What OS are you running? Have you tried checking your installed programs list?
