Is there a reason non-zombies can access the underground? I understood that it was a per of remaining a zombie to be able to access the underground year round. But apparently not? I really would like to understand the reasoning behind this.
I really dislike items from The Lost Skeleton coming out of the mystery box. Buying things from that shop is one of the benefits of remaining a zombie. Those items had been holding a decent value in user shops making it one of the few shops that was really worthwhile restocking at. Now the items are deflating in value just as rapidly as everything else :/
Normal HAs can access the Lost Skeleton too though.. I buy foods from there all the time.
seriously? Then umm, what is the point of staying a zombie? I honest to god thought the underground was only open to everyone during zombiefest. :p
Yeah.. I have no idea.. I can access the Lost Skeleton, Half-Baked and the Philosopher's Store .. I can't do alchemy though D: So uhh.. I guess that's a perk? :(
ridiculous.
I mean, no offense to you or anyone else but really?
For what it's worth I do find it very strange that I can access the stores. And people without the Uncharted map can still get food at the Rathskeller Inn which .. is also weird.
I never understood it either, but iirc the one thing they can't use is the Alchemist.
The Mystery Box has also pulled from The Philosopher Shop as well.
thanks for the info. IDGI all these years. ugh. lol
I think zombies are the only ones who can buy from Skitters' shop, so there's that. Unless that was changed as well.
I have no idea why it is zombie only any more if zombie strains are no longer going to be a reoccurring thing during pandemic. It would be better if we opened it up so that normal HAs could traverse to view the art and do some things until kicked out for staying too long (like BHH). Then they could pay for full time access by buying a strain as a nice sP sink if they chose.
Restrictions are pointless now. Anyone can get any item from the zombie den through (awesome) volunteers, and there are many like me who offer to make people alchemy items. Wouldn't it be better if Ecks/Skitters saw the need to, you know, finance their government by taxing/restricting the living. If you were able to buy a strain for a hefty price(opening up the Underground); then it might also make sense to add fees to the living that purchase items through shops there. Ex. An item you purchased @ the Philosopher's store for 444 sP would incur an extra (unbarterable) tax of 1k sP on top of it. Storywise that could create conflict between those affected in the original pandemic, those who got infected later on, those hiding behind lab zaps :P, and those purchasing their way in.
I went off topic and made a couple of suggestions; but yes the living have been able to visit those shops to restock just like those without the uncharted map have been able to restock in Rathskeller in and actually use the inn.
^I don't think I've ever seen so many bad ideas together in a single post.
Being a zombie is about being a zombie. So you, you're telling me you kept your strain for years because you thought you could access the philosopher's store and others couldn't ? Even being the only ones with access to Skitter's is just really an excuse for a lame perk.

Yeah, that has always been like that, all shops on site are available for everyone to restock in. Personally, I don't like the idea of humans getting into the underground at all - especially since they'd be "visually" walking around / stepping everywhere until they got to the very last Underground section, which is where the shops are.
That being said, I guess I wouldn't mind it too much if there were any relevant zombie perks besides Skitters' shop and Zozi, with his few and far between items. Don't get me wrong, imo the zombie volunteers around are indeed amazing people who offer to help others for free, every now and then I get some older stuff from them as well. What they do is great! I just think the people who held on to their infections for so long deserved a bit more than just this :/
Also, if the current restrictions (which are already really few) to the Underground are removed, then I want a fullbody coverup without holes in it and multiple nose / basic mouth options please. Preferably the same mouths and noses already available to humans, just turned into wearable items. It shouldn't be a problem if I'll still be paying for the OLLs I'll need, right? Because then we'll be all taking advantage of the best of both worlds, just by paying a fee.

I thought the point of staying a zombie was to stay a zombie? And y'know skitters, and being able to make new books/things with the alchemist and stuff? I mean I didn't stay a zombie any of the 5 (or 6.. or however many years subeta did it) because I always got stuck with a weird one (outside of the stone one, I wanted to keep that one but there was a wicked lack of male mouths then, opposed to the now just lacking male mouth options xD) (at least when you consider the 593805-4293-0239404904 squared lip gloss type items we have, the 3 or 4 male mouths are still lacking-- but better than before)... but I really thought that WAS the point? To have some perks and a totally 100% unobtainable skin once the event passed in exchange for a nose?
I mean if those stores get taken away than the Inn/drunk carl (karl?) need to be taken away from everyone non-island access as well... oh wait... no, I'm pretty sure that's why the shops are the way they are :T?
If you have to sell strains, sell the fake strains the SAI had during the plot like...two years ago?
In a plot, two years ago, the SAI offered survivors fake temporary strains so they could sneak in the underground.
Cool! They should be in the MC for 6-10 mil each .
I thought that staying a zombie was to access Skitter's shop and to have a different skin base. it promotes creativity when it comes to dressing your HA up. If you don't want to be a zombie get cured. if you want to be a zombie, don't cure. of dress up as one if you're a living HA.
