I've been having some funky dreams lately. The other night I dreamt about a girl called Kaya Cocosaro. The dream itself wasn't that awesome, but I think the name is pretty cool, and it left a huge impression on me. You know when you wake up and you remember the dream, but there's a certain part about it that just sticks in your head really clearly?

Last night I was dreaming lucidly, which is not at all uncommon for me, and I was prancing around and dancing & generally enjoying the freedom of being able to move so gracefully. Then, I felt myself begin to wake up, because my dog who was sleeping next to me stretched out and her foot touched my leg. So then I'm in this weird place of still being inside my dream whilst also being aware of my body against the bed, the dogs foot on my leg, and the room around me. And then music started playing - that New York song by Alicia Keys? I hate that song so bad, but it was so clear in my head. I was very nearly completely concious at this point, and could see/feel the light of my room behind my closed eyes, but I could hear her singing so clearly, along with the piano playing. I could hear every single note of the piano, as if the music was really playing in my room.

It was really strange because whilst it was happening I was so happy with how awesome it was, I knew that I would never be able to imagine it this clearly whilst fully awake - I don't even know the tune of the piano properly in real life, and I just lay there listening to it, and admiring my sub-concious mind for being able to remember not only the song and lyrics, but the complete backing track that goes along with it - something that I most certainly can't do in real life.

Anyway. I woke up properly and tried to imagine the music, and whilst I could imagine her singing I had no idea how the music went. So yeah. Cool stuff, huh?

I have very vivid dreams nightly. I remember them so well that when I wake up sometimes I have trouble distinguishing events from real life and stuff I dreamed about. I thinks its kinda cool. I love dreaming! Always exciting and never dull. :) (I really need to keep a dream log, cuz the dreams fade from my head after a few days.)

Same! I keep a dream log but I'm quite behind with it lately. It's surprisingly hard to be bothered to write everything down. xD
