Meet Busybody, Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock fanpet. :) The name comes from watching The Speckled Band with Jeremy Brett. For reason's unknown, Dr. Roylott's fail at insulting Sherlock ('You're Holmes, the meddler. Holmes, the busybody!') got stuck in my head on a loop. I knew what I had to do.

I'd like a bit of help with two things here.

I accidentally almost posted at the same time as H0lmes with their thread, but I've decided to wait a few days. So yes. Been there. Seen all that. Even suggested a few where they overlap ;)

I don't know if you've checked them out already, but 's pet Geek has all the non-fiction books, if you want to take a look through that for ones you're missing that relate!

Oh I love you so much ! So great to have a real Sherlock Holmes fanpet and not a fanpet of the series ! I was getting a bit despaired about that ! That name is so great XD

For books, he is knowledgeable in chemistry, anatomy, geology and botany so I'd look for these. I read somewhere he liked old editions and bees (but I can't get the references together, why didn't I bring my Sherlock Holmes book here ?). I alsot thought of because it's about a muder and Sherlock Holmes knows everything about past crimes ^^.

For the TC, I thought of the Handkerchief Wrapped Box male wearables and , because he is in an opium shop in The man with the twisted lip and that story is about a beggar (yeah I know a hookah has nothing to do with opium but you get the idea ?) The beggar can also be his disguise in The beryl coronet. Maybe some of the zombie den items concerning organs for his anatamy knowledge. For The final problem, I don't know if there are items that would suggest a priest ? also , .

For the red-headed league, I can't resist the urge to ping and her extensive collection of redhead wigs XD

For the speckled band you can look at my pet doraphobia's TC. She has some snakes.

I'm thinking of takeing them all out of my wardrobe, and putting them in a 'gallery', lol, but i don't know if i could part with them, even into just a gallery! :D hehe what you need is . she has ALL the wigs, and I bet if you asked her nicely, she may put all her red wigs (and she has More then me!) in a separate gallery, and you could 'link' it. lol :D

Haha ❤ I've watched the series and it's very well done, really. I like it a lot too. But the way it's impossible to open any thread on here and NOT have Benedict Cumberbatch or some other tribute from the series peering at you...is beginning to creep me out :P It's like everyone's forgotten that once there was this man. Who wrote that book. And then some more books.

Thanks a lot for these, I've totally forgotten about the hookas (I...kinda suspect that if something existed at that time...then Sherlock smoked it) and the anatomy/handkerchief wrapped box items... definitely considering. So, you collect wigs? :) And no no no, I'd never ask anyone to divide their collection for me in any way! Just the thought of having something that belongs together in more... than... one... place... is terrible. Ack. Haha :D

Yeah, it annoys me a bit too to be honest. My father has always been a huge fan and has a nice collection of books/DVD related to Sherlock Holmes. I love the old adaptations with Peter Cushing, and the ones with Basil Rathbones. I love Sherlock, but it's just an adaptation of great stories, and seeing it constantly here is annoying me so much I feel less and less the will to watch the next series. Nothing to see, but when I talk about another book of Conan Doyle, the lost world (not sure it's the original title, I only know the french one ^^') there's always someone thinking I'm talking about the lost world (the one from Jurassic Park). It always saddens me. I hope I never see someone say the original Sherlock Holmes suck and that BBC Sherlock is much better. That day I'll cry XD It's a bit like Doctor Who. So many gifs of Matt Smith, Amy and Rory that I sometimes wonder if people know about the old series =/
