I need help picking out a color and species for my Half-Life fanpet Headcrab. I've had him for a while but I could never think of an appropriate color species combo and let's be honest, there really is none.

For those who aren't familiar with what a headcrab looks like:

Please help, I don't care how far off your suggestions are because mine probably aren't any better. But here's what I've been thinking:

The skull somewhat resembles a headcrab.

This one because it's got a smiliar body and thin legs and could be used for a custom overlay.

Please give me your opinion or suggestions because it could make things a lot easier. :)

Second of all, have you considered a scribble ? Its pose kinda reminds me of what a headcrab looks like before it jumps somebody.

Actually no I haven't! I put off on looking at the scribble experiments because I just assumed none would fit. I think that's definitely the best I'm gonna get, now time to start zapping the little guy. :3

Oh I'm going to have to agree with the scribble , there aren't really any others which match the body shape as well. I love how they walk, the back legs are so stumpy and it's fun to just hide around a corner and watch them stump around really sad i know I was trying to make a Gordon Freeman avvie the other day but bad fails happened and the best thing about it was he had a crowbar xD
