NOT HERE TO ADVERTISE FOR A BOYFRIEND, JUST FOR ADVICE So, long story short I have been single for a long time and I am SICK of it! I wish I could snap my fingers and fast forward to a time when I am married with my husband and kids... I'm just sooo impatient. Whoops - sidetracked. Anyway, I consider myself a pretty normal girl. I'm 20, I'm reasonably attractive and dress nicely (I think, anyway xD), I'm physically fit and pretty outgoing and go out partying a lot... I'm not a freak or a stone cold bitch as far as I know, so I would like to know why I don't seem to attract much interest! :( I'm particularly interested in hearing opinions from guys because I have actually asked all my girl friends and they can't come up with any answers, they seem as confused as I am. Maybe I am part of a socially inept group of friends XD Either way - HELP! Tell me what you look for in a girl AND how you hit on her? Maybe I'm being hit on and not even noticing it o.0

I know this is going to sound really typical but if you dont look for it, it comes to you! I was exactly the same as you, I turned 20 and really was sick of being single. That year I was out with my friends a lot so its not as though I was socially reclusing myself but I couldnt seem to find anyone. So when I turned 20 I kinda gave up, like I couldnt be bothered looking anymore. Then I joined a sports club at my university and 3 months after joining got together with a awesome guy and weve been together ever since, its been a year and a half now. Even if you dont want to sit around and wait for it to come to you, try joining new clubs, you might find someone special there! :)

Do you like any guys? Try talking to them. I didn’t get any interest for a while but started talking to a guy I liked and making an effort and now we’ve been dating nearly 3 years.

Boy, do I ever hear you on this one. :( I'm so tired of being single. I want someone to be there for me, and me for him. I want my best friend and I know he's out there somewhere, but the universe is keeping us apart for whatever reason. Granted, I'm not the best looking person on the planet, I'm overweight, and I have some acne...but is that a reason to completely ignore me? I'm not ugly, I'm outgoing, friendly, a nice person I think, I have a good personality, and if it makes any difference, I can sing well. :/ But apparently no one cares. It sucks.

I agree with . I think if you don't look for it, it'll come. c: I can say this from experience. I was always one of the "I DON'T WANT A BOYFRIEND. I like being single" type of girl because I gave up on 'love' cause I've been hurt heaps of times. Then somehow I ended up falling for my best friend, who has been my boyfriend now for nearly a year. :)
