my friend since the 2nd grade moved to a city 8 hours away well hes back in town and invited me to see the hunger games w him and our other close friends at 6
my dad said no bc the weather is really windy
we only have one car right now and my dad has to do something at 7 so i cant just take myself

I missed a school play my junior year of high school due to bad weather. It was snowing, but my dad was afraid of the snow picking up (it never did). The windshield wipers sucked is basically the only reason why I couldn't go, to be honest. School plays usually aren't my thing, but the one that was planned just sounded soooo interesting, and all of the actresses/actors were reaaaally good at acting! I knew I should've went the first day but nooo I just had to wait to the weekend lol. Oh well.

My "bestest" of all best friends (who I rarely talked to back then and even now Dx) invited me to celebrate her sweet sixteen up in New York City by watching How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on Broadway. I asked my mother in advance if I could do and sure enough (since my mom loves her as well) she let me! But by the time it was a week before her birthday my mom randomly said I couldn't go because she planned to go to Philly during the same weekend. I was pissed -- especially since she planned her Philly trip right then and there.
so ya: i cried and stomped my feet around until three days after her birthday :C

When people interrupt me while I'm in the middle of doing something, specifically at work. I'll be cleaning and have an entire game plan set up to do things efficiently and quickly, when bam, customer/rush which forces me to stop. Or I'll have to cover someones bathroom break, or lunch break, or just anything, haha. When I have a game plan, I hate deviating from it until the task is done. I like getting work done.
I obviously don't get mad at the customers/coworkers that need me, but its just so god damn annoying. xD
I almost cried at choir last night when we were singing a new Easter song. It was about Jesus and how he felt carrying the cross and I guess I just really felt it. It just struck me as so sad and I didn't want to hear about how he was being hurt and just...ugh, I don't know. Just one of those moments.
Since when does the weather being too windy count as a valid reason to not go out though? It's not like it's snowing or hailing or anything, right? That just strikes me as odd, especially since you said they already told you you needed to get out more? Parents, eh? Weird. I would have been upset too though. Damn, I'm 28 years old though and my parents still try to prevent me from going out. I have my own car and money though, so they can't really do anything about it. They still try to guilt trip me though. :/
