Which Pet Zapper do I do to if I want to get my pet to [eventually] become Experiment ?

You need the Zapper v2, which is the one on Atebus.

Good luck. I've had good luck with the zappers, but it took me over a year of almost daily zapping to get an experiment. ANY experiment. So have lots and lots of patience. And lock anything valuable in your inventory (or stick it in your vault) and put a junk minion on your pet. Inventory items and minions have been known to be turned into ooze, dust, and other stuff by the zapper if it misses your pet. And don't set your heart on a particular gender, either...that changes, too.
