Just now I was trying to lock a stack of Subeautique Invitations and I noticed that, no matter how many times I clicked at it, it wouldn't lock. I put this down to not being able to lock stacks of more than one item, and was about to move on from this learning experience until I noticed something: the number of Invites I had had gone down. And I am 99.99999% sure that until a few minutes ago I had THREE Invites in my Inventory (I hardly use them, so they tend to collect dust) and five in my Vault. I now have TWO in my Inventory and five in my Vault. I even checked in my Shop, but there's none there.

I'm also sure this has happened before, but because I could never afford Subeautique items until recently and I came across them quite often, I never worried about it. But now that I actually want to buy from that shop, this has become an issue.

So, is this an actual problem or a random brain-fart of mine caused by too much caffeine and not enough sleep?

That sounds very strange. It could possibly be a glitch of some sort (I mean, the whole site's been so whacky lately), but usually locking items doesn't have any problems. The safest thing would be to redeem all your invites--that way they'll never disappear--unless of course you are thinking of selling them. But anyway, I'd check account search to see if the invitation possibly ended up somewhere else. If it really did disappear, you should file a ticket and let admin know and hopefully they can fix the problem ^_^

Now I'm even more confused - the Account Search says I have nine in my Inventory, when my Inventory says I have two! Does this mean that there's a pile of invisible Invites somewhere?

Ehhhhh what the.... So before the invite(s) disappeared, how many did you have in the first place? The only other thing I can come up with is that the inventory page layout is screwed up (which it is) so maybe your invisible invites are hidden behind another item or something. Well...I think the ticket to staff is the way to go now, lol. This is so mind-boggling...

Well, I thought I had three plus five in my Vault but at this rate... I dunno. :/

I filed a ticket a few minutes ago, though. I hope I put it in the right category - I've never done anything like that before.

They got back to me saying that they looked in my Inventory and there's 9 there, which only increases the wtf level by about 200%.

you can lock 10 items with a GA. are you sure you haven't locked 7 invites? (locked items show up random on the bottom or the top of the inventory x_X) and you can have a max. of 250 items that show up there. if you have 240 pumpkins and some random crap in your inv, they probably don't show up... (try to look at the items via quickstock (show no locked items), the gift center (should show locked items) or just unstack items in your inventory)

It showed two in the Quickstock and I had the Inventory set up (Sort by name, show categories, stacked yes) so that locked items were always at the top with labels like Invites x 3 or whatever.

But! I unstacked all the items and it immediately started showing seven locked Invitations. Then I refreshed and it showed two unlocked ones. It now switches randomly between the two whenever I refresh the page, either showing seven locked Invites or two unlocked ones but never both.

then I would recommend to put the locked ones into your vault, when thy show up :D

As far as I know when you lock an item that is stacked only one copy of the item is actually locked. It's possible that you actually locked two (if you are seeing two) and the rest stacked behind them. I would suggest, if you haven't already, turning off stacking and see if they show up (they would likely be in a different category in your inventory than the locked ones).

Do you have over 250 items in your inventory? If you have too many items in your inventory it'll hide the other ones in both quickstock and your inventory which could cause a problem with a stack of something.

I had less than twelve. I managed to sort it out by shoving everything into the Vault, anyway.
