Sorry if this question is already answered but I was wondering is there any way of getting the uncharted maps beside buying them from user shops, they are pretty expensive but I really want to get to omen islands? Thanks in advance

The maps are generated through random events, and my understanding is that the events themselves are fairly rare. Unfortunately, aside from those event, I believe user shops/trades/auctions are the only way.

Actually I believe the random events for those pieces no longer exist. There is no way of obtaining the map pieces unless you just drop all that money on them through user shops and trades. They used to stock the map pieces in the crystal shop but that was years ago.

I had a friend in my FB group who was bragging about getting an Omen Islands map piece a short time ago, so I sort of assumed it was still possible. I'm not discounting the possibility that they were mistaken in their excitement and it was a normal treasure map, but I certainly wouldn't consider them to be a liar. May have been a rash assumption on my part, and if so, I do apologize :)

Ah well maybe it is possible, I just have not seen it myself in so long.

I'm practically immune to random events of late, so I just try to live vicariously through my friends' lucky finds xD

I got one of the pieces a few days ago. So I'm assuming that the random event still exists, but is extremely rare.
