So i have just finished my pet's profile to be put up for pet spotlight, but i would like some opinions on my pet, her story and her profile before i put her up for pet spotlight.

I can't read it without straining my eyes ^^; Why yellow, may I ask? If you're struggling to see the text against the background when it's coloured black, you can make it paler where the story is supposed to go ~ I see a lot of white space around where the background ends. Perhaps you can make that polka-dotted pattern repeat across the entire background(so it looks better on larger screens) . Some of the images in the background are quite pixellated, I don't know how much trouble it would be for you to find some higher quality images too (the music sheets and piano look fine, it's the other stuff). Also, if they're not your images, they need crediting somewhere on the profile. In the end what you have on her profile is your choice, these are just things that have gotten pets booted from the nomination queue before, seeing as the spotlight is your current goal for her C:

Thank you for the feed back, it has helped so much. i only have a small screen so i cant really see how the profile would look on a bigger screen. I only chose yellow for the font cover as it is all that i could find that would show up well against the background. All of the images that are on the profile are from google, so should i still credit them?

Yep, credit anything that isn't yours ^_^ I took a screenie for you : link Even just changing the background colour to a similar shade would take off the edge a little, coloured background to hard white isn't nice on the eyes xD

you have helped so much :) i have changed her profile so that the background is a block colour (and i actually prefer it as it looks less busy) only problem is that i cant get the webpage background colour to change. i have the code to do it but it wont work :/

I just took a look at your coding and some of the redundancies and tags are messing up your coding a tad. A lot of your coding is good, but the placement of the lines throws off the profile. For example, you can fix your body coding by using this: body{background-image:url(http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/y481/JodieGermanotta/Untitled_zps0ace22d1.png); background-repeat:no-repeat; background-color: ;} instead of the multiple lines c:

You may also want to remove the second style opening and closing tag here: {position:absolute; top:472px;left:32px;}

aw thank you so much :) and i have tried to make it scroll more as there is more of the background image to be seen but it just keepa getting cut off at where my description box ends :/

Wow, it looks REALLY good. The theme you have is really nice. The layout is easy for me to read. I think you'll defiantly win the spotlight. :D

As a big fan of Ms Germanotta I really like the idea and the story. I did find the story slightly difficult to read due to some run-on sentences and grammatical errors. I really like background with the piano and sheet music. Personally, I would use the same background for the 3 sub sections because as of right now they are of varying colors and image quality which (imo anyway) makes the design a little sloppy. Overall though, I really like it and can definitely see it winning pet spotlight!

Oh, and I agree with the above post about wishing the page scrolled a bit more, even 10-15 pixels would help distinguish the end of the text box more.

Try using this, just adjust accordingly. I used this on my most recent profile (Carrera) and it helped a ton with getting a good scroll.
