custom overlay question? is this okay?

It was one of the potentials for a feli revamp - but it was voted out in favor of the current lineart. I LOVE these lines for one of my pets - and i was wondering if these lines (obviously recolored) would be okay to use for a pet overlay? I want to make sure it's okay before i do it.

- this would be a rules interpretation and I really think it would safest if you just submit a ticket and ask staff. I would feel really bad if I advised you to go ahead and use it and you ended up getting a verbal or formal warning from it. I would also feel bad if I said don't use it, and you don't get the profile you want when staff might have said its okay to use.

- the staff are very good about tickets. I've sent in tickets for a wide variety of issues,some personal,some site wide. Asking clarification of rules is always appropriate :).
