Hey in early April I'm taking a trip to GC in Australia, where I shall be staying in Brisbane, Broadbeach and Byron Bay. This trip has been made last minute and for some reason Im finding it really hard to find info! Can anyone suggest fun things to do whilst im out there? Also Im trying to get from Brisbane to Broadbeach via public transport, does anyone have any transport links. I know first of all I have to take the air train then a bus? Is there anywhere online I can book it first? And how much will it cost?

Often some of your best options are in hiring an express shuttle that runs from Brisbane airport to broadbeach. A lot of them will drop you off right out the front of your accommodation, or close to it if you tell them too.

The Gold Coast has a lot of fun things to do. In particular the theme parks. Movie World, Seaworld, Wet and Wild and Dreamworld. You can get combo tickets here for multiple entry passes into multiple theme parks.

Learn to surf while in broadbeach if you don't know how to already.

You can have a look here as they often do combo packs so you can get a better deal by packaging a return door-to-airport transfer with a few return theme park drop offs using the same service. Don't know if it's in your budget or not, but it certainly saves the hassle of trying to find out which bus lines you need to get on.
