Personally, for just the basics in look-ups, I love mbif.net, a site owned and operated by an Admin here. ^_^ It also has a TON of backgrounds.

Here is where they say how to do the basics. Make sure you have the profile section out, and put the coding in there.

Most people normally have a 'form'. If they don't then just tell them the basics and they'll ask questions if they need to know.

If they do have a form, just fill out what ever pertains to you.

Though normally my bare minimum is : Image(s), Text/Subtext, Number Of Columns, Extras, and Scroll/No Scroll. But I ask for other things too because those basics are just that--bare minimum basics. ^_^
