I'm not sure if its just my luck, or if this is happening to everyone. But its REALLY starting to bug me. I've been posting on the 'Dance with the user above you' thread, and obviously dancing with the person above me. But today, theres been at least like 7 or 8 people who have posted after me and not danced with me. Its like..why would you even post? Dx
when that happens, I ping that user back to the board, asking them if they perhaps forgot or accidentally invited the wrong person.
Yeah, I've sent messages to them, but only one has replied/danced back. Its quite annoying, and its been happening all day. Dx
The other option, at least, the one that's worked for me...join some sort of specific thread with a group that will be inviting each other back and forth. In my case it's a roleplay based thread, we've been meeting up for the last 3 years and it's been a lot of fun.
Other than that, I entirely agree with you that it's hugely annoying when people are obviously skipping out on inviting back in return. Thankfully it's always a win situation, since you get trinkets when they accept, regardless of if they return the invite.
That's why I never do those :/ I've had it happen to me like, three times in a row now. I'm sticking to just sitting in one thread and dancing with a random person. At least I'll get 1/2 the tokens that way ._.
i did a few of those and i haven't been screwed yet. though then i saw someone with a fall out boy ad so now i'm raping them with dances.
I see it this way...at least in this event, you still get the trinkets from the dance you gave. It does suck that they didn't dance though.

I've used the claim above boards for all the events and while there is always a certain amount of skipping that happens, this event is way above and beyond what I've experienced before. I set up my own board because it was getting so bad and now I'm just dancing with a couple of people over and over again.

i agree with . perhaps the best option is to make your own board and allow a certain number of users to join, thereby keeping the circle small and closed. just start a board saying you want to have a small circle of dancing going and only allow the first X number of people to participate. when you reach your number, close (and subscribe to) the thread?

i'm having the same problem, i was going to post a complaint on here but i read yours first -_-

I was using the User Above threads at first, but hated it. Now I'm just dancing with one person; much, much easier in my opinion.
sometimes people have to log off unexpectedly. maybe they will come back and accept the dance later
