So there is a name that I would like to change to, but it's currently taken.

HOWEVER, the person has been inactive for over 10 months and I remember Keith saying that accounts that have been inactive for 12 or more are deleted.

I'm wondering, are they deleted right away? And are the usernames then up for grabs?

Usually ... I'm PRETTY SURE every 6 or so months the staff go through all inactive/frozen/ect. accounts and clear them, if they are well over 10+months, once they have been cleared then the names are up for anyone who's interested.

We just had a big BIG name clearing sometime around April/May (... if memory serves me right) so... I'm guessing in a few months they will clear names again.

Though I could be way off on this.

I am DESPERATE for the name so I hope it happens within the next couple of months. Thanks for the info though. :)
