I was wondering if I read a book to my pet, does his intelligence stat gain only go up 1 or can he earn more than 1? I hope I don't confuse anyone on this. Thanks for any help I can get.

For every book read, you earn one intelligence point, however I believe there are certain number-levels that gain more than just one intelligence point. (For example: The milestone 100 books read would give 102 intelligence points or something akin.)

I also believe you can gain intelligence levels from jobs and possibly quests, though don't quote me on that.

There are a few books (I think like 2 or 3) that give you more than one intelligence point, but most books only give you one intelligence point.

Boy, it's gonna take me awhile to get his intelligence level up lol.

- you can also play the Mystic Spindles game to earn 'points' to buy your pet intelligence. Its best to do this while your pet has very low intelligence because the number of points needed to raise your pet's int gets higher the higher your pet's intelligence. Examples, my pet with 10 Int would cost 99 pts, my pet with 11 int would cost 108 pts, and my pet with 234 int would cost 2111.

It goes pretty quickly at first. ^_^ If it helps, the Blue Sky vending machine in Veta Lake vends books. I think it only took me less then half an hour of vending to get one of my pets 112 intelligence (7AP).

Also, if you get a job at the Job Agency, there's a small chance your pet will gain a strength, level, or intelligence stat when getting their income.
