hi cc long time no talk
so my dumb little monster corgi has decided that a few odd things are acceptable.
-she likes to come into the bathroom while i'm taking a shower and growl at the water that will sometimes splash out. she doesn't try to lick it, move, or anything. just... growl at it. -she is terrified of my snake's cage. she won't get within a yard of it. she doesn't bark, she doesn't bite, but if i put her at the edge of the bed near it, she will whine and whine and whine until i tell her she can move. -she has decided that my spiderman jacket is a good schutzhund sleeve target and won't train with me when i have my older jacket on. this is a problem because my damn jacket is all ripped on the right sleeve. she jumps ONLY at this jacket which is so useless. i'm trying to title you in this, YOU CAN'T FASS* ME, YOU HAVE TO FASS THE DUMMY. -she likes to lay on her back and whine like she can't flip over. she does this especially when in her kennel. she might be dumb.
ok tell me your weird animal stuff.
*fass is the command you use in schutzhund for attack/hold.
Oh animals crack me up. I hate two cats. I can't say they do anything totally off the wall but: One of them is on a mission to destroy my shower poof. He will constantly try to get into my bathroom and take it. So I have to keep it far out of his reach. He also begs for food like a dog.
My other cat doesn't like to let me sleep. If she's in my room with me when I try to sleep, and I close my eyes, she will poke my face with her nose or lick me until I open my eyes. Sometimes she'll start whining too.
My cat does that too. I think he learned it from the dog. D:
My cat also thinks he's a watchdog or something. Whenever someone drives to our yard, he goes to see who it is, and I know he has chased cats and dogs away from our yard. XD The other day we had some deer walk past the house and my cat was there to watch them too.
My dog is such a silly thing I don't even know what to say about her, lol. She thinks she's ten times smaller than she is (she often sits in my lap or squeezes herself between me and mom on the sofa), she's afraid of everything (paw cream, the sound of hot air balloons even from far away, her own food from which she always runs away before she goes back and eats it), and she has a thing for licking my stepdad's sofa and the pillow on it.
My aunt's cat won't drink water straight out of the dish. They have to put his dish up on the counter, and then he'll stick his paw in it and lick the water from there >_>
My cat is really odd when it comes to going in my bedroom. I leave the door open most of the time, and when I'm not in there, she'll just go sleep on the bed. But when I am in my room, she'll come, stop at the threshold, and meow. She just will not come in by herself if I'm in my room, even if I tell her "it's okay!". She'll just walk around the threshold and meow until I go out of my room, pick her up, and carry her in. Then she'll just start purring like mad, since she wanted to come in all along. She also seems to think that Q-Tips are the most delightful toy in the world, and that cheetos are the best food.
no wonder your dog gets scared when you put it near a snake :P
she likes Crowley just fine! she likes to let him crawl on her back when she's laying next to me and i have him. she just thinks his cage is an evil beast.
My dog thinks that bath is a good thing and turns his head when he hears it, but when he relizes what it means he isn't too happy about it He licks his coller when I take it off him to brush him He only humps men and only a certain few at that(like my cousin) He is ether stupid or extreamly loyal because he never runs out unless he see's a cat or see's the car door open And last but not least, He loves to sleep in the bath tubb
Is any one there?if so....dont find me.i will only bring sarow, death, and dreams of insanity.
My neighbors across the street have a corgi. She's dumb as a brick. Cute. But dumb. She was running behind them once, when they were going back to their house and they went in, shut the door, and didn't know she hadn't come in first, so they shut the door and she ran smack into it and then fell back on her rump and stared at the door until they opened it a second or two later.
I have two cats, Holly and Emma. They're both scarily intelligent 99% of the time, but then they have their moments when you just stare at them and wonder. Holly hates our neighbor's cat (he's outside, both of mine are inside only) and will yell at the top of her lungs through the window at him, even though she must know that neither one of them is going through the glass. She'll yell until I yell at her and then she'll just give me a look and leave. Unfortunately, this usually happens about 5AM or so. Emma likes plastic bags...eating them, batting at them, stalking them...and being carried around in them. She'll dive into the bags when I come home with groceries and stare at me until I pick her up and carry her into another room. Then if they see me go into the bathroom, and I don't wait for them to come in with me, they bawl outside the door until I let them in. But then once they're in, they sniff around for a minute and then bawl to be let back out. Like they have to check the area before I'm allowed in. They're so weird. But they're my babies and I adore them both.
My hedgehog, Sassafras, likes to act extremely independent and aggressive toward almost everyone. Which is how my 6'2" boyfriend became scared of a hedgehog that's maybe four inches long. It's funny because neither of them will voluntarily go near each other unless forced. Sassafras also has a habit of making "friends" with other animals then repeatedly trying to run over them when he exercises in his ball. He does it entirely on purpose too. I can't leave him for more than an hour either. If he doesn't search for me, ultimately knocking over anything with a cord, then he gets depressed and hides in my room. The instant he sees me, he perks up and starts circling around my feet to prevent me from walking away. Sassafras also refuses to be calm when someone else is holding him if I'm near. Then he nips them and scrambles over to my lap. He also has this well established routine of waking up at 3 AM to hoard woodchips in his nestbox, as if someone is going to steal them during the night. I think he's entirely adorable though.
I've got a jack russell terrier who will run in place in circles when he hears dogs barking outside. One of my cats also likes to climb up on me and my sister and rest on our boobs. ._. I figured when she was little it was something she'd grow out of, but nope.
oh my god, my oldest cat likes to do that. he's HUGE and if i'm at my mom's house, will come over and FORCIBLY make his way onto my chest and just hiss and hiss and hiss at my dog if she's there.
tilly is luckily, smart. smart ish. okay she's got no common sense but at least she knows all her tricks. it's a corgi thing. they don't know how doors work.
My cat sits at the table with us during lunch/dinner. And expects someone to sit there and give her food. She just runs straight in, hops on someone's chair before they get to it and waits patiently. She even eats at the table instead of dropping it on the floor now. For such an amazingly stupid cat she learns pretty fast when food is involved. It was my mum who encouraged this too, she's gone from constantly yelling at the cat over the carpet to treating her like an oversized baby. I swear to god that cat is plotting something. Suppose it's better than eating scraps that look like they might crawl away at any second like she normally does.
Weird animal stuff? Hmm where to start.. XD On of my dogs, Rex... especially now that he's getting up there in years, always has to paw at the ground or floor in a 'digging' motion whenever he goes to lay down; doesn't matter if it's dirt, grass, the rugs, wooden floors, or concrete he's laying on... he always has to do it.
One of my birds, Hercules, will flip out if you try to take him out of the cage to clean.. once he's out of the cage, he'll stand on your hand willingly, but will loudly shriek the entire time... he's the only one of the three cockatiels to do this. A second cockatiel, Connor, will be displeased if I sleep in later than her and will throw seeds at my air mattress from her cage... especially sunflower seeds.
Another one of my birds, a parakeet named Vincent, will nap while hanging upside down from one of his toys. I used to freak out thinking he was stuck... but he was just hanging there. He hopped right down when I went to investigate...
One of my cats, Smokey, is huge and doesn't act like the typical cat. He begs for food (as do the other cats), follows my grandpa and me around the house with the dogs, and will play fetch with pipe cleaners...
And one of the praying mantises, General, will freak out if I don't take him out of the cage for a long enough time every day and will sit there banging on the side of his enclosure with one of his raptors if I am too busy to take him out in the morning. The other mantises don't do this, only him...
