Honestly, they look rushed to me as far as shading and coloring go, though the drawings themselves are quite nice. But if you aren't satisfied then the customer may not be either. When I'm in a style rut I typically look up a new tutorial to shake things up : ) Good luck!

It wouldn't hurt! =D You have an excellent sense of anatomy, and I rather enjoy that it isn't typical adorable stuff. It has a rawness to it. I'd do it and see how much better you get as you take on more and more requests you know? It could help you feel even more comfortable with the medium!
