So, I was just messing around on this one site, and then all of the sudden, I'm logged out. I try to log in. Doesn't work. I try to see if I can change my password. Doesn't work. I try to have my ID sent to my e-mail. Doesn't, fucking, work. So right now, I am sitting here, freaking out. SOMEONE GET YOUR ASS IN HERE AND TELL ME I'M JUST OVERREACTING OR SOMETHING. PLEASE.

And CC, go ahead and tell me any similar situations so I don't feel like a total moron.

My sister is always losing her passwords. Sometimes I think if her browser didn't automatically save them she'd be screwed.

Hasn't happened to me in a while, tho. However, I've gotten like ten emails from Neo because someone is determined to retrieve the password to my account. No idea why they would want to.

meet me, paypal, and ebay. i forgot my paypal password. had it sent. i bought a prepaid card to buy stuff with, finally got on ebay. and then it wouldn't work. tried to use it directly on ebay, nope, paypal only. so i sat there for 3 days until 1 day before i would have been fucked for ebay ever again to beg my parents to let me use their card.

Oh god, I would be freaking out about that. A similar thing has happened to my mom, she was not a very happy person.

i was. i got email after email saying "you need to pay and you bought it, otherwise WE HATE YOU FOREVER" i was like ";A; i'm doooooooomed!" i was so upset. :c i still have my card until i buy the other two things with my mum's credit card as well.

Thankfully I use the same password for damn near everything (becausei'mtoostupidtoremembereverysinglepassword) but, thankfully, somebody has YET to figure it out in the first place :3

Check you spam folder, sometimes e-mails about passwords end up there.

I've already submitted a ticket, hopefully it wasn't hacked or anything but I have a feeling it was. Because apparently, my account was checking out the support account.

Someone keeps doing that with my Neo account as well. It's hilarious and irritating. I mean, it's like they'd know by now that no matter how hard they try to simply guess, they are not getting that username.

So yeah, I'd send the owners/MCs/weblords an email explaining every detail of what happened, and in the meantime while you wait for them to respond, listen to calming happy music and pet a cute fuzzy animal. Works for me whenever I want to put my foot through the computer screen.

I know next to nothing about computers, but this method usually gets me out of any trouble. Good luck!!

And also, try not to worry. Getting sleep is important. I know I sound preachy, but it's true. Sleep and let the site admins worry about it. And if they don't answer the first email, keep sending them until they have no choice but to answer! You'll be like a tiny bird pecking away at their synapses until their brains collapse and they give you a million dollars to go away.

- I have an email account on my friend's server. I get it popmail'd to my email (Kmail.) but I can login to their main mailserver if I so desire. Do you think I remember the password he gave me ? No. Thank heavens I have it already set up or I'd have to ask him to make me a new account. Which he would, if i asked, but still.
