There's talk of removing sP from the site because there's too much of it; well, a good way to facilitate that might be adding an option that pays directly into the site to fix a zapper skin, rather than seeing large sums flow to other users.

This feature would permanently remove sP from the economy and let people have more fun as well; I've talked to people who won't HA-zap because the cure might be too expensive, and this would make it easier for them to jump in knowing that their skin won't be held hostage for possibly millions of sP after the event ends.

I support this idea. I might zap myself if curing becomes a set amount of sP that you pay directly to Ian, or maybe another 50 tokens.

It's useful, but like, one month a year, so how much of an actual sink is it going to be?

It's going to be used en masse from mid-october to mid-november and after that, not a whole lot?

Paying for cures could be a good money sink if the system was extended to Survival. The zapper could provide an even bigger money sink if people had to pay 10K sP per zap instead of wizard tokens.

, that's still some money out of the economy even then. There's little enough harm and some considerable help in adding the feature, and it might come in handy at other oddball times like when the HA zapper was open for the cruise event.
