I currently have the Samsung Galaxy Axiom, the only one I could afford at the time. While it was good for the first 10 months I had it, I'm looking to upgrade because now not only is one line on my account eligible for it, my Axiom is becoming a piece of crap.
I was looking at 2 options - staying within the Samsung family and upgrading to a Galaxy s4 or going with an iPhone 5c.
Anyone have either phone..tell me the pros and cons. I have a week to choose which one I want.

Hello ! How are you? You must be excited to get a new phone, it's always fun to upgrade!
I personally would definitely suggest a Galaxy of some sort. I have the Samsung Galaxy Note II and I love it! They have the Note III out, I'm sure you could get the Note II cheaper though. They are both great phones, I plan on sticking with them for as long as I can. The only thing about the Notes are that they are extremely large, probably the largest phone out there. But that's what I love about it! Great for playing games, watching movies, having a larger screen to look at without hurting your eyes. And the keyboard on the screen of course is larger which makes it easier to type. I had the iPhone 4 and I loved it, but I definitely love my Galaxy better. If you don't want something so large but enjoy Androids and Galaxies, get a Samsung Galaxy S4 or S3. :)
Let us know what phone you end up choosing! I'm interested to hear.
i have an iphone 4s but i know a lot of people with iphone 5c's and they said they wish they had gotten the 5s. i love my 4s and i find that samsungs don't last very long in my possession, so i do prefer the iphones
My iPhone 4 didn't last long.... maybe because I dropped it? LMAO. I won't lie, I did like it, but I like my Samsung much better. Never heard that the Samsungs don't last as long as iPhones. I wonder how true this is?
idk, maybe I just had bad luck. lol my charging pieces inside always broke
I will do some Google researching! There are always so many varied reviews though. It seems everybody's experiences are different.

- Yay new phones :D I know a lot pf people likes the iphone 4s, so if you want to go that route, I'd suggest the 5s before the 5c honestly. c is just color. Thats why God invented cases.
I am looking for a new phone, but for ma a slide out KB is a hard requirement. I cant type on the touchscreen without raging. I need the tactile sensation of the separate keys bc I don't see well and using my fingers on buttons is much much more comfortable for me. I have a droid 3 but I dropped my laptop on it and severely shattered the screen. Not amused. I may get a droid 4, but I',m waiting to take a trip out of town to see what other sliders are available.
collecting The way I see it, if you're familiar with the Android family or really great with computers/technology, go with Samsung. If you like easy navigation and trendy colors and phones, go with iphone. Here's my opinion on the two:
Samsung Galaxies: Pro:
IPhone 5c (I don't own one so I can't be 100% positive) Pros
Cons:
But I can't be totally be sure of these, most of these are my opinion and researched :p
I'd like to get the 5s but it's $100 more and I live on a limited income so adding on $240+ onto an existing $150 a month bill won't be easy to pay off.
Both the 5c and s4 are running the same price right now [around $140+] and are within my price range. All I have to do is come up with $100 plus sales tax for the phone itself and all other charges which include a $35 activation fee can be added to my bill. I could add everything onto my bill but decided against it, I rather pay the bulk of it up front and work out the rest as I get paid.

I just got the LG G2 2 weeks ago and i LOVE it
If you have any interest in something besides those two, there's a company called Republic Wireless that has really cheap data plans and offers the Moto X as their phone. The reason they're able to keep it so cheap is because when you're in range of wi-fi, the phone switches to using that instead of satellite or whatever, which keeps the costs down. The Moto X is the only phone they currently offer but it has pretty good reviews and is Android based. Another great thing about this carrier is that there's no contract, you just pay by the month and can stop using it or change your plan whenever you want. You do have to pay for the phone up front, but it pays for itself pretty quickly when you look at the costs of typical cell services.
My boyfriend and his brother both just switched to this service and have nothing but positive things to say about it. I plan on switching and trying to convince my parents to switch once my current contract runs out, because they're currently paying like $240 a month for 4 people, and this would only be $100 on the $25 plan.
Here's the website if you have any interest, otherwise good luck choosing a phone :) My mom has the samsung galaxy note I believe and seems to like it pretty well.
