I adopted Hoarder as a chibi Mortiking. I had done an overlay -here-. With the image update, the Mortiking is just too vicious looking for the character I had in mind, so I'm looking for alternatives.

I want Hoarder to appear protective, standoffish, or even sad. Does anyone know a pet species and color that might fit the bill?

I think darkmatter or glacier might be your best bets. Though the grin may not work, the darkmatter lasirus was the first to come to mind.

- The Lasirus is one I'll keep in mind, along with the Glacier Velosotor. Thanks!

Still looking for suggestions if anyone else has ideas.

Wyllop was the first thing that came to mind with that particular pet name. Pack rat, anyone? Glacier, hydrus, or nightmare might work for the wyllop. And graveyard, if you're looking for a sad look.

a few glade pets look like they might fit? or maybe a graveyard pet? (although some may be a little to mean for what you're going for) also steamwok, glacier, and some other chibi colors:

❤️ Please let me know if you are selling any of the following CWs!! ❤️

- Packrat is a great idea. Looks like a lot of the Wyllop colors need some love, though. I think I actually like the chibi one the best. Thanks!

- I really like that Hippotu. Thanks!

Wyllop is the first species to come to mind. Though about "packrats."

However, some of the poses of the steamwork pets would be great.

Graveyard Charlie. Get him an overlay, so he doesn't look rotten and then have an item placed in his hands? Or even most Charlies. They look like they're holding something. And like they'd rather kill you than lose it.

I think a marsh mahar would work well. Dragons are known for their hoards, mahars naturally have a stand off-ish expression, and the earthy colors fit a hoarder in my opinion.

- So many good suggestions on this board! It seems that a lot of pets have some of the characteristics that I'm looking for.

I have never really liked (or considered!) Charlies or Mahars, but I think that the Mahar has the expression I'm looking for--guarded and cautious. I'll be choosing a Mahar for Hoarder for sure.

Thanks everyone who helped!
