I HOPE THIS IS IN THE RIGHT AREA...sorry if this is not even forum worthy but yeah
OKAY I KNOW THIS IS TOTALLY LAME/PROBABLY HILARIOUSLY STUPID... but I was wondering if anyone could help me with some math homework/prep stuff? It would be really helpful is some people could help with some problems I am having now, and even more so if you could give me some helpful tips/explain some things to me...
a lot of the topics I am dealing with are: Mathematical Logic (truth tables, negation, tautology the works), Functions (general functions, sine and cosine functions, differential calculus and tangents)....and maybe a few others BUT THOSE ARE ONES I AM GRASPING AT STRAWS WITH. Logic is just taking me for a ride and good god what is this function gibber gabber.
I will kindly award anyone who helps me a lot with ARTTTTTT anything you want! I KNOW IT ALL SOUNDS DESPERATE but man I need help!
if you're wondering why I am asking on subeta...its cause I know there is a large bunch of people on this website with varying interests! Plus it's easier for me at the moment as I'm by myself. Yes :I
I was never any good with logic but functions I should be halfway decent with. I've taken Calculus I, II, and III along with Differential Equations, Stats I&II, and Stochastic Processes so I would hope I could at least help a bit :p
any help would be great! We just started calculus, so maybe you could help me out some? I might need help when I get farther along down the line, right now we're doing very basic stuff
Are there any particular problems that you are having currently? I actually missed most of Calculus I (but still got a B) because I was really ill that semester so I'm a bit fuzzy on it but I could probably figure it out.
Have you tried out Khan Academy yet?
I don't usually pick up school-relevant information from websites like this, but Khan Academy is actually very good. It's a series of videos that cover a variety of subjects, narrated by an extremely pleasant guy who makes everything very easy to understand.
You should be able to find all the different math topics you're looking for through 'Watch - Math'. c: It's arranged chapter by chapter.
Sorry I can't help out personally, but this is the second best thing.
PatrickJMT is a great resource for math on Youtube. :) He's helped me succeed up through Calculus 2 and I'll keep using his videos until I graduate. I highly recommend watching him if you need some more examples and someone who can explain math in layman's terms. <3

I could help you with logic. I absolutely hate truth tabling, but I've finally mastered it.
That's all though. I'm a law student, I haven't seen a lick of math beyond rudimentary arithmetic since high school. :P
I would like to echo 's suggestion and raise you a Khan Academy. My boyfriend studies Nanotechnology with a major in Quantum Mechanics, he used this site for math and physics in the first year of his studies. It steps you through whatever you're after and it makes otherwise very complicated concepts simple to understand.
