Please no.

I get enough pings already. And we can already tell when we earn achievements because we can clearly see the notification pop up.

Suggestion: Remove them

Better suggestion that people have mentioned: Make it toggle-able.

Personally I would rather have an event on the sidebar (which is visible )than the current set up.

I always seem to miss the stupid notice, and I think this is a nice way to avoid that.

I kind of like them. What I don't like is the fact that I'm getting them for achievements that I already had. I would absolutely support an option to toggle them on/off though

I, personally, really enjoy seeing the event notifications of an achievement being earned. Most times when I get one, I don't see the event happen on a tab... so its nice to know/see an achievement has happened.

I quite like this actually. There are quite a few achievements where the pop up doesn't show up, so this makes up for it :)

But I'm mostly pro because i tend to share my new achievements with my friends to show progress. This makes it easier

i have found this helpful because with the new achievement page it takes a while to load or actually earn you the achievement, so with the event i can be sure that i got it instead of waiting for the page to load

I've had trouble with pings needing to be dismissed multiple times before they finally clear off, and the alerts for achievements seem to be especially bad for this. D:

Toggle option please!

I like the pings too. I often the popup or navigate off a page before its fully loaded so miss the announcement. I'm just disappointed that a lot of the new achievements didn't send pings.

I actually appreciate it - I often don't get the super ugly event for my achievements. Now that the bulk of the new ones have been gained by moi it doesn't bother me having a new alert from time to time.
