Come on, please say that I'm not the only one plunging in!

For those who aren't in the know, Script Frenzy is where you have the goal of writing a screenplay, a comic, a drama or... well, anything with a script- in a month. You have to aim for 100 pages, can't start until April rolls in and then you need to finish before May starts in! http://www.scriptfrenzy.org/

I'm launching myself at it and writing episodes 2, 3 and 4 of the sitcom that I wrote the pilot for last November / December.

I'm not into that sort of thing, but I thought I might as well give myself a new writing goal. I'm aiming for 30k. Though the rest of you are going to be writing scripts, comics, or whatnot, it's still nice for me to know that other people have artistic goals at the same time, so that's why I'm doing it now. Ah, sorry for not being clear. I suppose people can't read my mind :) I meant 30k words. In Nanowrimo, a sister program, people aim to write 50,000 words in the month, but I'm going with something a little easier.

er. i'm probably at about half a page. i just started because i was telling myself 'no! no! i won't start this until i get home!' because i'm at my grandparents but then. then i started to write it.

i suddenly lost all knowledge of script writing so i'm just fumbling around with Celtx wondering what the hell i'm doing.

Meep. Not participating in Script Frenzy, but I'll be working on other writing goals of mine. I'd like to write at least 50 pages this month. Not necessarily one story (perhaps 3 or 4 short stories... but we'll see).

Edit: Clarification: Cohesive pages. That actually tell a story. Opposed to my normal page upon page of broken ideas. ^_^

Aww, that's a shame. I got to about 1 3/4 pages and now I'm gonna try to get out to about 4 pages this evening. I hope it gets a little smoother for you! Just play around - I got a bit confused too. If you like, I have a general 'how to write screenplays' thing that I could send you?

No worries! I got this PDF from a module that I took at my uni last semester. It's pretty comprehensive and just tells the basics of how something should look and why. It focuses on the nuts and bolts, essentially. {Here!}

This PDF is also from the module, but it focuses on dialogue and voice, so the critical approaches. I don't know if this would be useful to you or not, but it's definitely interesting and it's from someone who knows their shit, so I thought that I might as well share. :D {& Here!}

I'm scripting out my webcomic! :D I've got about 15 pages so far, but I had a head start.

SCRENZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY I'm at 20/100 right now .3. I'm adapting my novella so I'm barely having to actually write (e.g. imagine things I haven't copy-pasted or anything I swear >: ). What's your sitcom about~?

HAH! I know myself too well to get involved in this, I got to like twenty thousand words for NaNoWriMo and then self-destructed. My best friend, though, who is able to turn out copious amounts of almost stream-of-consciousness writing and then write sequels, fanfiction, and crossovers using her own works (which amazes me) at an enormous rate, is once again participating.

I haven't heard from her since March 31st. xDD

Well, not breezing, but it feels kind of easy. Mainly because it's gotten back on track...

45/100, I hope to get to 46 today. Maybe 50.
