So I have the pet Hounded, and I have some ideas as to what to do with him, but I just can't decide.

My ideas are:

1. A Supernatural style Hellhound, that drags the souls of those who made deals with demons back to hell.
2. An Irish Wolfhound style hound, in the style of the original Sherlock's Hound of the Baskervilles.
3. Again, a Hound of the Baskervilles style pet, but instead, it would be a play off of the BBC Sherlock's Hound episode, where Hound was actually a scientific project.

All three have lots of potential. I guess it really depends on which fandom you want to base him on/you are more familiar with. Do you have more ideas for a Sherlock or a Supernatural pet?

In my opinion, the easiest choice would be to base him on SPN's hellhound. There's quite a lot on information on these and you could easily build a character around it. The hardest choice would probably be the BBC!Sherlock hound, since it could be very complex. Yet it could be the most interesting choice since there's A LOT of possibilities. He could be a scientist working on the H.O.U.N.D project. Or a test subject. Or like Henry: a victim of it. Or you could just make a case file thing about the project etc...

After writing this I guess the BBC!Sherlock ideas sounds more interesting. But that's just my opinion XD (And I swear I'm not biased: I'm an huge Supernatural fan too!)

That is a great name, and those are some seriously awesome ideas. Hmmm... I agree that the hardest choice would probably be BBC!Sherlock, but he'd definitely the one I'd go for. The fact there's such a wealth of ideas would be great to choose from. Maybe from the POV of that labrador, scared and frightened? Or it could be all industrial-styled with quarantine labels, with him as a test subject as said. C:

Or SPN Hellhound could be equally awesome. Would he be Crowley's? He should be Crowley's. There's a lot of lore you could work in there, and a you could put together a creepy as hell profile. :'D

Oh! I would suggest at least watching the first 5 season of spn before making a final decision (I'm not a fan of S6-7 so ... Yeah. Anyways...) Because Crowley is awesome and making a pet based on his hellhound would be a very good/original idea :P (Where exactly are you? S4?)

If you want both maybe you could use Hounded as a BBC Sherlock fan pet and create another pet to base on an Hellhound? (Since it would make more sense to get another name for an hellhound than for the H.O.U.N.D project ... Unless you got H.O.U.N.D as the other name XD)
