I really don't know who to ask or where to look.. but I was wondering if any of you have personal experience with what Job Corps is like either through yourself or someone you may know?

To support a family my boyfriend and childs father may be going into job corps for auto mechanics and im not sure....really what that means except for that he will be learning job skills a couple of hours away...

Could anyone tell me about it?

My ex boyfriend went to Job Corps. He went to the one in buttfuck Maine.. aka Loring Job Corps. They were like hours from walmart. He basically described it as a combination between college and jail.. Its not a fun place to be.. But its better then being a bum and doing nothing productive with your life.
