Shark falls from sky....apparently.

Quote
The shark, which reportedly had two bleeding wounds near its dorsal fin, is thought to have been dropped over the golf course by a predatory bird, though no one is known to have actually seen the shark fall.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww they saved it! That's just so sweet. I'm glad they put so much effort into saving a shark which most people would not care for.

I was expecting it to be like a great white shark. I was thinking, "Sweet Baby Jesus, what kind of predatory bird could pick up and carry a great white shark?"

But I'm happy they saved it.

At least they saved the shark. However one does not expect to find a shark dropping from the sky onto your golf game....I'm just glad no one was hurt.

That end bit has me confused. Strong winds can make fish blow miles inland out of the sky ?___? I'm just trying to comprehend that and it's not happening. Like I just picture a little fishy swimming in the ocean and then fwoosh into the sky

The general thought is that waterspouts pick up fish, which strong upper-level winds then carry inland some distance. I'm not sure such a phenomenon has ever been directly observed, but there you go.
