Well, that depends on how you want it to work. I have an original species for fantasy or sci-fi genres that is hermaphroditic and it could technically be called mpreg because they appear otherwise male. In fantasy you could use magic to make it possible. Some people say that certain Elves can have Mpreg. You could have advanced medicine or technology make it possible. Really, the possibilities are many.
