Is there a trade system or is it just unavailable after the sale is over? Sorry for the newbie question, I have been avoiding this question for months but I really found something I want to get if I can. :)

You can make a thread in the R200 Advertising forum stating what you'd like to buy, and hopefully another user who has one will sell to you.

Usually they sell for csc, but some users will be willing to take sp or wishlist items.

No problem. You can also try checking trades or the shop search. Sometimes CWs from the cash shop will pop up there. Oh, and there's also the Pawn Shop where you might find it. Good luck!
