@ Pinto Hmm. I like a challenge. rubs hands together To be honest, I've never been to Louisiana either, so I hope I don't offend any... Louisianians(?) But I do know the kinds of things you hear about. I also used Louisiana's wikipedia, and the Wetlands of Louisiana pages for help.

rocky, dark water, forest. gloomy, mossy. misty, foggy, always dark. humid, damp heat. smell of decay, things lurking in the shadows, eyes.

These contain a rich southern biota; typical examples include birds such as ibis and egrets. There are also many species of tree frogs, and fish such as sturgeon and paddlefish. In more elevated areas, fire is a natural process in the landscape, and has produced extensive areas of longleaf pine forest and wet savannas. These support an exceptionally large number of plant species including many species of orchids and carnivorus plants.
(i know gators are more common than crocs, but choices are limited)

@ Pinto Hehe many hugs are always welcome. :) I was surprised no one had responded, this wasn't difficult so much as time consuming. I was surprised, Gumbo and Jambalaya are pretty prominent, but we don't seem to have any subeta items for them... Looked back over him, found a few more for you. I'd been so focused on Louisiana that I missed these.

Louisiana voodoo stuff

It differs from Vodou in its emphasis upon Gris-gris, voodoo queens, use of Hoodoo occult paraphernalia, and Li Grand Zombi (snake deity). It was through Louisiana Voodoo that such terms as gris-gris (a Wolof term) and voodoo dolls were introduced into the American lexicon.
voodoo dolls

I wasn't sure what his alcohol vice of choice was, but if you let me know I can find them. Most drinks are listed in the Libertine Lounge, the lost skeleton, holiday shop and the rathskeller inn
