I like to rs during holidays,Gives me something to achieve and makes it more of a challenge then just clicking every 2 mins to get what I want.

They did this to be a gold sink. There is way too much money in the economy right now, and that's why Gunter's shop is set up how it is.

I agree. I enjoy restocking during the holidays when I remember to do it. I got most of the Keelhauliday wearables in just two or three days. Had I been RSing the entire time, and more focused on reselling, versus just filling my wardrobe, I could have made a ton of profit.

But Subeta just wants to drain gold from the system right now.

I much prefer RSing wars and the likes. I haven't bought a bloody thing from Gunter this year and unless something ABSOLUTELY AMAZING comes out in the shop, I won't be.

I also prefer RSing...I only spent on one item in the brewery shop, and it wasn't that expensive. like 3000 or something. But I'm not wasting my sP on the other stuff.

Heh, I actually liked the fact that I didn't have to restock for this holiday. Unlike a RS war (which are actually my favorite types of events) everyone is restocking in one shop rather than in shops all across the site, and I always found that trying to RS in a shop with so many people vying for the same items at once just made it too much of a pain the in ass for me to try.

So yeah, I personally enjoyed the change of pace. I was actually able to get the books I needed without having to become frustrated if I missed them.

I prefer RSing too. I haven't bought anything from Gunter either, and I probably won't, even though I do like some of the new items. I'd rather struggle with restocking the rare things and have a chance of not even getting them at all than pay outright like 300k for an item. /:

i understand the need for SP sinks, but what i dont understand is this site's apparent vendetta against restocking lately. i mean it's not really my thing anymore (i was very much into it way back when, though), but i just think it's weird that there's been so many pushes to nerf the fuck outta restocking. seems kinda shitty if you ask me.

that said, i didnt actually buy anything from gunter's shop this year. idk, if i'm paying prices that steep, i might as well be buying them out of user shops. kind of a turn off.

Restocking is how I made a profit on the site, particularly around the holidays. I got everything but one item from Keelhauliday, and I restocked pretty sporadically. In terms of brewery, I'm purchasing what I was missing from years past, lamenting over some of my items that got devalued, and not purchasing any new items in that shop. I figure I'll complete what I wanted to collect in years previous, and won't spend a dime on anything from this year forward.

Restocking is basically my favorite thing ever to do on this site, ngl

I like restocking from a holiday-opened shop because you can't just get everything you want. It makes it more special when you DO snatch something up. And we can feel this way because the items you don't restock can still be bought in trades/user shops, so it's not like total despair if you can't get something. Just a little extra sP. I'm not feeling RSing getting phased out.

With the new shop, I'm still not getting everything I want.

I actually enjoyed this change; aside from a few issues on the buying time limit and certain shops being open at certain parts of the day, I really liked sinking my sp into the shop. There was just an intense restocking holiday; and I also liked how laid-back this event was.

Turning in beer would have been better if it was mostly based on new beer items from Gunter's shop. Free beer could have been a fraction of a point and such.

Honestly, I'm happy with the change. It's nice to actually have a chance at items instead of everyone with faster internet connections snagging all the items before I can get something worthwhile. I don't mind restocking in general. I do it all the time in the food shops, but those shops are permanent. After a while, the interest will fizzle. Not with holiday shops. Everyone will be fighting to grab the best items well into the end of the event and I'm lucky to get something of marginal worth. I personally didn't mind sinking all my sp into the shop. I was gonna do it anyway for most of those food items, and I happened to get awesome discounts while I was at it.

I do think Subeta is trying to find a balance, though. They kept Freyalise a restocking shop, after all.

I enjoyed restocking the things from the Holiday Shop, but the Keelhauliday shop was a nightmare of lag for me. The Alegarten unlimited stock was nice, but the shifts for shops made it tricky to still get everything I wanted.

I must say, I REALLY miss holiday rsing. I looked forward to it every event... I realize not everyone likes rsing, but what about the ones that do?
