I've been wanting to adopt out Inhumane lately (I even made a board about it eheh), but I found a story I wrote a year ago and I just realized how much I loved it and its idea. Not only that, but it fit perfectly with Inhumane.

If anyone's interested in reading it, it's right here. I've decided to tweak a few things here and there, as well as rewrite a few areas. The only issue is, I'm not sure what color to make him?

I'd love for him to be Bloodred, because of his character; he's (his name is Verantio, Veran for short). However, at the same time I feel like he should be Nostalgic, considering the fact that he started out as a simple drawing that soon became a doll/stuffed animal prototype.

Any suggestions? What's your favorite Nostalgic pet, if that's what you would choose(or if you choose Bloodred)? Or would you go with a completely different color/species? Does anyone know of any science/lab related items as well?

If you don't want to read his story, then here's a quick summary about Veran.

About Veran basically a mutation gone wrong; but at the same time, a creation that was meant to be a kid’s best friend. Veran was made for one strict purpose-to protect and stay by Vivid’s side. As Vivid grew older, his ideas and concepts of Veran changed. He wanted Veran to be real, rather than a perfect and fake being. He gave him phobias, needs, and a purpose. What he didn’t give him, is information on whether or not he actually has a soul. To clarify: Vivid as a child and teen, wanted nothing more than someone to care for him; something he lacked growing up. Veran, as you know, was made for protection. He never really gave Veran feelings or an “actual” purpose to life. He did this so that Veran can’t feel the way Vivid felt. He wanted to make sure that Veran could overcome anything and anyone. When Veran would go on his rampages, he’d destroy everything in sight. He would never feel remorse or pain after his deeds. In the end, Veran realizes this and asks whether or not he has a soul.

Graveyard might also work because of the tendency for them to have different parts stitched to them, and the fact that (from the sounds of it) he nearly died.

Some pets:

Endeavor or Cadogre might also work, because of their artificiality. They can be seen as being toy-like.

Others:

Nostalgic:

Let me know what you're leaning towards.

Possible TC items:

if you choose graveyard, maybe? (there's also purple, green, red and yellow)
there are several different colour filled glass beakers,

Aah, thank you so much! I'll be adding those to his TC wishlist. c: Pet wise, I'm leaning towards something that's Graveyard or a Cadogre. ^^

Hmm, do you think Steamwork would work? I'm not if I want him to be one, but I'm just curious. Rather than Veran being re-created as/with toys, maybe he could be made out of spare parts Vivid found?

What about Graveyard Cadogre?

More...:

As for Steamwork... Personally I don't know if that would work, due to the sad, dark, and serious tone of your story. Most Steamwork pets have a bit of a lighter-hearted feel to them that I don't know if I can picture them suiting the name, "Inhumane." That's most of them...but I think these ones might just work:

These ones feel a bit more serious than the rest, to me anyway.

All in all, it's up to you.

I think the Graveyard Cadogre would suit him. I asked about the Steamwork pets, because of the paralix. But now that I think about it, I think creating a design for a Steamwork pet in general is pretty hard. Well, actually it's kinda hard for me personally 'cause I already love how most of them look. Agh, I wish I had more space!
