Am I the only one who gets really irritated when this happens? You're trying to quest, or restock, or just looking around, and then BAM every single shop is empty and they all restock at the same agonizingly slow rate and it takes forever for anything to build back up.

I understand why the shops have to be cleared every now and then, but could we stagger it a little? Maybe clear 3 at a time or something, so some of them still have something to offer?

Most quests give you 30 minutes to complete them. Why not do something else until the shops stock again?

I dunno if every quest is like this, but Wizard Quest rewards drop off dramatically depending on how long you spend trying to complete them. If you can't get it done within 5 minutes, the rewards (I would assume) almost aren't worth it. I've actually never spent more than 80 seconds on a Wizard Quest, TBH. ^^;

And "go do something else" is basically me, sitting at the computer, grumbling and hitting refresh waiting for things to stock, or saying "Eff this, I'm doing something else" and logging off until I decide to check back in a few hours. Frustrating users to the point of causing them to log off is probably not a good business strategy. XD

I don't know what staggering the shops would really do for you, though?

For example, what if you wanted to restock Cupcake X from the Bake Shop for a quest. You go in there, and the shop clears. Regardless of whether the Bake Shop clears along with every other shop, or only by itself, you just lost that cupcake.

And staggering would actually make it harder for you to restock. If you were trying to restock the Magic Box, and Minions and Trading Cards cleared, the people in those shops are now going to go into Magic Box and you'll have to compete with them besides the other people that were already in Magic Box.

lol I dunno maybe I'm just not seeing something, haha.

More often than not, you're just catching the clearings at the wrong time. The shops ONLY clear when there's too much of stock in a shop, or after a significant amount of time. Yes, it's frustrating, but perhaps you just need a bit more luck...

it's not like it's empty for 30 min... it's less than a min... and doesn't happen that often

i don't like this idea. i like that all main shops restocks and empty at the same time.

I'm not sure how this would help much, really. Shops should continue to clear as they do, when they do. Be it I don't restock very often but, I've only run into this situation like, twice. As for questing, I just buy things from the user shops, so it doesn't have much an effect on that.

I like that they clear all at the same time.

If I'm restocking in a big block of time (like, for half an hour, all I do is refresh shops, nothing else) the shops clearing all at once reminds me to get off my butt and do something useful, or at least gives me a break to get a drink, use the bathroom, etc. for a few minutes without having to worry about missing the next stock.

I also really do not see how shops clearing together or separately affects questing even a little bit. o.O
