I already have 20, got a Loyalty Pet Slot Totem from being 7 yrs with Subeta. How do I do this again? Can I even have an other?

you need a gold account to fill any slot above 5.

yep. Once you got the gold account activated you can fill the slot :) So you either adopt or create then.
