I'm not only new on subeta, I'm not used to write in English so I'm sorry for any mistakes. But I understand you just fine ;)

Over the past weeks I collected some questions as I was exploring this site. Just like this I can ask them at once.

Battle Questions

• I'm training my pet. Is it important to train "speed"?
• I didn't tray to start a battle quest, but are they easy?
• Can I accomplish any battle with Penelopaias stats? - If not, how high should they be?

Quest Questions

• Carls Quests are on the Omen Iland. Can I still get there? (Did you get acces through a plot?)
• Major Drill asks me some things to do I don't know how: How do you scratch a scratchcard? Does "Buy 5 stocks" mean I have to buy 5 things from main shops?

Shop Questions

• Is there an item limit in my shop?

Exploring Subeta Questions

• Blue Building: What is an original treasure map?
• Survivor Memorial: Does anything happen if I lay down flowers or kiss the statue?
• Lower West Side: Can you do anything in the Centropolis Green Project?
• Riverside Nature Hike: Can you actually do something there? Or is it just looking for these things for fun?
• Fragmentizer: How many items you have to fragmentize to get a worthy amount of cristals? Or how does this work? ;P
• Underground (Shadowglen): What can be found there?
• Excavation Site: Is there any point?
• Vanya's Workshop: What can you do there?

Forum Questions

• How old at the most may the topic be to respond to? (In many topics somone says that we should watch the date of the last respond and maybe reopen a new one.)

Speed is, as I recall, affects blessings, curses, freezing, and I think critical strikes as well. I would train it evenly for now.

At the early stages you will be skipping most of the opponents, only fighting the easy ones such as Willowisp. You could probably start battling if you have the right weapons. There are guides for weapons in the battle forums.

You can access the Omen Islands by completing the uncharted map. The pieces are quite pricey and they can be found in shops and also through random events.

Scratchcards can be found in games. Here.

Stocks are the stock market which can also be found in games.

There is no item limit for shops.

You need to complete this map.

Survivor Memorial is for the Pandemic/Valentines event, laying flowers and kissing it will get you achievements.

The Centropolis Green Project was a small little event during Vesnali a while back.

The underground has a couple of shops that you can access anyways. Other than that, there's the alchove for making alchemy items and other stuff. You can buy one of these to access it. It will change your HA, and in the later stages of the infection you'll be allowed access in.

Excavation site is only used for events, so right now it is pointless.

Vanya's workshop is for creating nostalgic pets.

I think you answered almost all of my questions. The only open questions are about the fragmentizer and the riverside nature hike.

Are there many different maps to collect?

There are only 2 maps - the Oman Islands map (uncharted pieces) and the map to get into the blue building (treasure map). The treasure map can be made any number of times to collect the treasure (but isn't worth it if you buy the pieces).

Fragmentizer is based on rarity. If you frag rarity items 1-65 (mundane, normal, etc) you get approximately 1 crystal for every 3 items you frag. R66 - R89: 1 crystal R90 - R98: 1-2 crystals R99: 1-3 crystals (In my experience it really isn't worth it to frag R99 items) If you check out the crystal shop, you will be able to see the various prices, but the cheapest items usually cost a few hundred crystals.

The river hike was part of a plot. Now, its available only for fun.

There are many "leftover" from plots spread around subeta. Is there one plot that is still open to do?

Other than the zombie vials (to access the den and underground, that Gremlin mentioned), none that I know of. Oh...you can still access the Hustler's Booth from the recent PekaBoo event.

Things do occasionally hang around, like the Greenhouse quest stuck around for years, until it interfered with a new plot and they had to kill it. You can also read up on old plots and events on offsite fansites like SubetaLodge.

LOL, now that's a tough question! It varies a lot. You can have unique events like the recent PekaBoo, that had no plot. You can have regular things, like Vesnali (a spring/easter type festival) that has set activities, but during the most recent one, staff added a plot. You can have mini-plots out of nowhere to introduce a new character, site element, or just for fun.

Typically, they don't happen often, because there are set events that need to be prepared for, as well as regular site maintenance that take up staff time, so they don't have a lot of spare time to come up with plots, design them and create the necessary programming and art work.

I just keep an eye on the news. My opening page for subeta is the news page and I go from there.

I get it. :) Well I think the subeta staff does a good job. It's very lovely here. To be honest the PekaBoo event passed me somehow. Did I miss something important? What is important... Was it more than shops and minigames?

It wasn't a major thing to miss. There were mostly a lot of things to buy, and for a new user, might have seemed pretty expensive. There were a few achievements that you won't be able to earn, but there weren't many. What's important depends on what you enjoy about the site - but I'm guessing you don't have goals yet, took me a while to figure out what I liked doing here. You may kick yourself later for missing out on some achievements, or maybe clothing, plushies or books, but until you figure out what you're going to focus on, you probably wouldn't have known what to buy anyway.

Yeah maybe I will regret some day that I missed that. But it won't be bad. I will join the future events.

The only goal I have by now is to write a story for Penelopaia, learn how to change her profile and get in the petspotlight n.n

Playing with pet profiles can be both a lot of fun and very frustrating :). If you haven't found it already, you should check out the Profile and graphics forum, both for ideas and to give you information on how they work.

the Excavation Site is the place that users who took part in one of the plots can freely make Bhakoru pets. There are also three games from that plot that are still functional and that have a physical home there.
