So I know if people are seeing this they've probably already made it through, but seriously, the dialog box on that achievement importing page should NOT be blue if the link says "You shouldn't click here", with a link that's active.

When people see blue it means "tip/non-important", green means "success", yellow "warning" and red "stop". Anything in a tip dialog is most likely to not be read of the colors (aside from green since you assume it just says yay good job), and when the link style makes the link stick out, more likely for the link to be clicked without the dialog being read.

I stopped myself from almost clicking the link by thankfully reading, but I'm sure a lot of people did not, or got very confused. Regardless of the color, the wording "shouldn't click here" with here being a link is just terrible planning in general. I work as a developer, and I even showed this dialog box to people around me, who were equally as confused/surprised. It's not like I'm just saying this because I want to find something to complain about - I'm genuinely concerned what happens if people just click through, since if you're putting "shouldn't click here", it doesn't seem ideal.

I seriously dig the new achievement system and don't mean to gripe, but that's just poor planning for something that's an overhaul of this magnitude and really needs people to kind of pay attention to what's happening on the page.

Also, there was no way to let people know when it's done? I watched the page stop for a full minute before continuing to move again - and again since I have no idea what happens if you don't let the process complete, if there might be that long of lags wouldn't it be important to inform people when it's done rather than trusting their judgment? Internet people can be impatient :)

I agree I would love an IMPORT IS DONE notification because now I'm wondering if I accidentally left the page too soon.

I agree about the links - at first I thought this was a comment on the initial import page, where it says "you must import your achievements before we let you back into Subeta" in which the link within the dialogue leads only to a 404 error. There's a button there, which does thankfully work, but I agree that clarity and working links are important.

I do agree that blue indicates "here is something we'd like to tell you" especially since it's the same kind of blue header that is used to indicate "we're working on this thing, click here if you'd like to help, click REMOVE if you want to get rid of it!" We're used to seeing items in that header as a voluntary option, so using it to indicate "DON'T click here" does seem counterintuitive.

Reminds me of English classes in which we're encouraged not to use double negatives. Instead of "don't/shouldn't click here" maybe change the color of the header and clarify the language a little?

I have no idea if my "import" is done but it stopped loading for 10 mins, so .. Pretty unclear tho.

Yep! Wording it like "when it stopped moving and you think it's done THEN you click here". I would probably feel more natural and maybe cause less confusion. This whole thing seems a bit rushed and not as well planned as usual.

I totally agree with the wording. A link that says, "You shouldn't click here," is just... ugh. As an English professor, I'm all about clarity in language ;)

I totally agree. The best way to handle it would have been to say something like "Please wait while we import your achievements. When we're done, a link will appear." That would let people know what they're waiting for, and keep them from moving on before it was completely done.

Clear wording and status updates are both super important.

Off topic, what the hell does "With a value of" mean?

- That's your score for each achievement. Depending on which achievement a value is for, it might be the number of quests you've done, or your highest score for a certain game, or whatever.

yeah... I accidentally clicked on the link when it was not finished ( I guess it wasn't? I have no idea, tbh) besides that, I keep importing my achievements, but I stay stuck on 230~ out of the 600~ I really have =/

I get that this process is technically advanced and is going to be a huge clusterfuck in the first few days, but the text in question could have been worded and coded in much better ways.

I agree. I had to leave the tab open and go do other things for over an hour (oh the horror, I know xD) just so I would be certain it wasn't loading anymore. Figured there had to be a "done" prompt that pops up, but there was none, and I didn't care enough at that point to wait any longer.

The import process is smoother after the recent change, but I think there's still a problem. I got stuck at this point toward the end, so I'm not sure if it ever finished or not:

It was there for a good 15+ minutes before I decided to move on, but I don't know if it crashed or if it's just missing a final "Hey, we're totally done now!" message.

I managed to get the "import done" page. It's quite nice, when it works.

I like the header now - it's clearer in its wording, is red, and makes more sense. The faster import helps too (when it's not crashing).

- So I guess I get to go import again. Yay me. 😐

My thoughts (in no particular order)

This. "Do not click here" is just so... off.

The import link does not work (at app. 5.30 am today). It leads to the achievement page and that's it.

What is the reason that there was NO announcement in the news? For a step that would affect ALL users? And would even require their active support? The infamous "blue dialogue" at the top of the page used to direct people to an explanation, not only to tell them they could not use Subeta anymore unless they reimported their achievements?

I don't understand how it can be ok to ask ALL users to go through ALL of their achievements and check for missing ones (might be ok for 23 achievements, but for hundreds?). With not even list to match them against (like, a list with the achieved achievements as counted the old system). How am I supposed to know by heart which achievements I got or which exact number on the tiered ones? Surely I know some of them. But some just "happen". Plus, I cannot go by the total as I read that the total has changed due to a change in tiers for some achievements. That is just such a poorly designed process.
